NEXTA DMA200

A dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) with an extended force range — for soft and stiff samples, with fast recording of modulus changes.

  • Extended force range up to 20 N — stiffer materials (e.g. carbon-fiber-reinforced composites), a larger sample cross-section than conventional instruments
  • Force resolution of 5×10⁻⁶ N with low noise — detection of even the smallest transitions in softer samples
  • Modulus 10³ to 10¹³·&sup5; Pa; sinusoidal wave 0,01-200 Hz (up to 20 frequencies) or synthesis wave mode (5 frequencies simultaneously) for fast modulus changes
  • Real View® option: live sample recording during measurement, color-change monitoring, and later review of results

Details

Deformation modes Tension, single/dual cantilever, 3-point bending, shear, film-shear, compression
Maximum force 20 N
Force resolution 5×10⁻⁶ N
Modulus 10³ to 10¹³·&sup5; Pa
Measurement mode Dynamic measurements: sinusoidal wave / synthesis wave mode; static measurements: program stress control / program strain control
Frequency Sinusoidal wave: 0,01-200 Hz (up to 20 frequencies simultaneously) · synthesis wave: 5 frequencies simultaneously
Temperature range LN2 cooling: -150 to 600°C · electric gas cooling: -100 to 600°C · air cooling: room temperature to 600°C
Cooling system 3 options — air, liquid nitrogen (LN2), or electric gas cooling. Electric cooling runs on electricity alone, with no external resources; the LN2 platform reduces nitrogen consumption by up to 30% (up to 11 cycles from -125 to 25°C with a 30L Dewar)
Sample monitoring Real View®-ready (option) — a real-time recording of the sample correlated with the measurement curve, including color-change monitoring; the recording can be played back later. Real View (model RV-1DMA) confirmed compatible — “DMA7100” is the older name for this instrument, NEXTA DMA200 is the current model name with the same camera
Drive shaft Spring-mounted, no compressed air required
Sensor LVDT
Data reliability verification Lissajous monitor function — stress/strain relationship verification in real time or after the measurement is complete
Software NEXTA TA — “Guidance Mode” with step-by-step instructions for less experienced users; switch to standard operating mode with full parameter access for advanced users; master curve (TTS) and activation energy calculation included as standard
Standards compliance ISO 6721-11, ASTM D7028-07, IPC 2.4.24.2, JIS K7095, and others, built into the software
Data entry automation Mass Upload Template (CSV import of up to 5.000 sample/condition ID codes), entry via barcode scanning
Dimensions 440 (W) x 630 (D) x 757 (H) mm (without handle)
