Benchtop flow reactor for advanced catalyst evaluation – simulation of process conditions (pressure, flow, temperature) before scaling up production

 

  • Reaction conditions up to 1000°C and 200 bar, patented control valves with a resolution of 0.1 bar
  • Up to 6 gas and 2 liquid inlets; patented liquid/gas separators with a dead volume < 1 cm³
  • FR-100 (1 reactor) and FR-200 (2 reactors – DUO/TWIN/PARALLEL configurations) for simulating both simpler and more complex process flows

  • Interchangeable reactors adapted to a wide range of chemical processes; sample testing from a few milligrams up to several grams of catalyst
  • Options: additional gas inlets, HPLC/syringe pumps for liquid, automatic liquid sampler (up to 7 samples), gas/liquid flow measurement at the outlet
  • Multi Catalyst Reactor (MR 4 / MR 8) – up to 8 independent parallel reactors for rapid catalyst screening, up to 120 kinetic points per week
  • Custom Reactor Engineering – customized mini pilot plants (up to ~50 g of catalyst, 24/7 automatic operation), 25+ years of design experience
  • Typical applications: Fischer-Tropsch, ammonia synthesis/decomposition, methanol synthesis, steam/dry reforming, Sabatier process, hydrogenation/dehydrogenation
