DSC
Differential Scanning Calorimetry
When to choose this option: You need to determine thermal transitions (melting, crystallization, glass transition) or the specific heat capacity of polymers, inorganic materials, or pharmaceuticals, without needing simultaneous mass measurement.
The NEXTA DSC series of differential scanning calorimeters delivers top-tier sensitivity along with exceptional baseline stability, thanks to an advanced heat-flow sensor and triple-layer furnace insulation. The series comprises two models — DSC600 for advanced materials development and failure analysis, and DSC200 for routine quality control — with an extended temperature range for the Real View® option, specific heat capacity measurement via temperature-modulated DSC (TMDSC), built-in safety features, and intuitive NEXTA TA software.
Key applications
- Research and development of advanced materials and failure analysis (polymers, inorganic materials, pharmaceuticals)
- Routine quality control, incoming/outgoing shipment inspection, QA/QC in production
- Electronics, automotive and aerospace industries, consumer goods, academic research
- Determination of thermal transitions (Tg, crystallization, melting) and specific heat capacity (Cp)
